COMIC STRIP

My latest fashion shoot has been published in the new issue of RANDOM Magazine - June 2010 Spring/Summer Issue....
Themed Fantasy and make believe.. The inspiration came from old comic books and super heroes and we gave it our own fashion twist... Spiderman meets the girl next door....this shoot was alot of fun to work on...colour and vitality always play a big part in my styling, I love to make my stories beautiful but still have a quirky feel...I hope you like it!

CYCLING FOR CHARITY

For the past 5 months I have been training for a mammoth cycle challenge in Riccione, Italy.. raising money for Young Norwood..
A charity that raises money for people with learning disabilities and children and families in need.
Norwood believes people should live the life they choose and they work with individuals to achieve their goals. Each year they enable thousands of people to change their lives, one by one.
Alot of the time we become so caught up in our own lives that we forget their are people less fortunate than ourselves reliant on fundraising events and challenges to help them live the best life they can...
I really want continue to fundraise for charities such as Norwood and I am defo going to keep up my cycling!
photos are of my sister and I, to prove we really did go!!
ps saving up for our Chanel bike and cycle outfits!!!

BICYCLE BLING

Just when I thought my new sporty hobby/charity challenge - cycling would mean looking incredibly geeky along comes what we d all aspire to own, none other than your very own CHANEL bicycle complete with its signature leather quilted side bag, handle bars and mud gard.. and if that wasn't shi shi enough for you then get yourself some CHANEL bicycle clips to match..and whilst we are on the subject of posh clobber please see the latest offering from Valentino - Lace look wellies! perfect for the festival season if you happen to be Paris or Kimberly and can afford such luxuries..I on the other hand will just admire them from afar and dig out my bright yellow hunters from 5 years ago! unless of course anyone wants to buy me a pair.

STEP INSIDE THE ENCHANTED PALACE

What I love about Spring is that it not only brings sunshine/blossom and lots more smiley people, but it also encourages us to get outside and experience London life at its best...so I am very excited to read about Kensington Palace's new interactive exhibition. In association with WILDWORKS, featuring Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, Stephen Jones, Boudicca, Aminaka Wilmont and Echo Morgan... this temporary visual delight invites you for a small fee (£12.50) to experience a magical, mystery tour of the palace with fashion, music and performance to set the scene for a real royal treat.. :D

JERUSALEM lives up to its hype!

Not much will get me out of bed on a Saturday... but there are exceptions! one being getting in line at 8 in the morning for tickets to see Jez Butterworths new sell out smasher of a play at The Apollo.. Jerusalem...
It was touch and go whether the early morning effort would actually result in a ticket but low and behold, 10am.. Front row seat.. I am a happy camper!
Were the hours spent q-ing worth it? 100%! tearful/shaky and amazed... Mark Rylance's performance was hypnotic and reduced me to tears of laughter and sorrow... he is a genius, together with his ensemble cast including Mackenzie Crook (The Office) and Tom Brooke (the Boat that Rocked) who were simply superb this original and powerful masterpiece left me speechless.. (which if you knew me is very rare!) 4 standing ovations later.. I was out on the streets of Shafesbury Ave and some how back at the stage door... Call me a groupie or even a super geek.. maybe! but sometimes one just can't resist! Evidence attached! ; )
